Job summary

TGJones is seeking a Store Manager for our Guildford store to lead a team and deliver a best-in-class customer experience. You will be responsible for driving sales, managing operations, and ensuring compliance in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will coach and develop staff, manage visual merchandising, and implement promotions aligned with brand standards to maximise profitability. This role requires strong leadership and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

• Champion a customer-first culture, always ensuring exceptional service standards.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing store team.
• Coach and motivate the team to achieve individual and store targets.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing procedures.
• Maintain high standards of health & safety, security, and compliance.
• Oversee stock control, deliveries, and inventory accuracy.

This is an exciting opportunity to step into a newly created leadership role within the TGJones store structure. As Store Manager, you'll take ownership of the overall success of one of our retail stores with an integrated Post Office, inspiring your team, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving commercial performance in a dynamic, community-focused environment.

About the role:

This role combines commercial retail delivery with the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of all store services, ensuring excellent customer experience across both areas while driving sales, service standards, and profitability.
