C2 Recruitment Ltd are partnering with a fashion footwear retailer to recruit a Store Manager for a brand-new Exeter city centre store. You will lead the opening and build a high-performing team, driving sales and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

This permanent role requires a confident people leader with strong leadership and commercial skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to recruit, train and develop staff from day one.

Store Manager - New Store Opening

Location: Exeter City Centre
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience + bonus
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Lead the launch of a brand-new store in Exeter

Our retail partner is opening a brand-new store in Exeter city centre, and we are looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead the opening and build a high-performing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused retail manager who enjoys being hands-on, developing people and creating an outstanding customer experience.

About the role

As Store Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running and performance of the store, including:

• Leading, motivating and developing your team
• Driving sales and achieving commercial targets
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Recruiting and training team members
• Managing day-to-day store operations
• Maintaining strong visual merchandising and store standards
• Taking ownership of the store's overall performance

About you

We're looking for an experienced Retail Store Manager with strong leadership and commercial skills.

Experience in fashion, footwear, lifestyle or customer-focused retail would be advantageous, but most importantly, you'll be a confident people leader who knows how to motivate a team and deliver results.
