Overview

Crown Paints are seeking to recruit Store Manager to join our fantastic team based in Barrow In Furness.

The role is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week (spread across 7am-5pm Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays 8am-2pm).

Responsibilities
  • Lead from the front of the store and be a familiar and trusted face to customers; build relationships with regular customers and win new business through confident prospecting and service that stands out from the competition.
  • Set and achieve challenging targets, enjoy problem-solving, and drive results; shape sales performance and customer growth with support and autonomy to make informed decisions.
  • Manage and motivate a small team; coach others, have meaningful conversations, and support strong team performance through structured time and task management.
  • Take ownership of stock, maintain control, forecast needs, and keep the store running smoothly day to day; apply attention to detail and forward planning.
  • Involve yourself in wider store performance and financial targets such as profit and loss, monthly KPIs, and margin management; develop commercial skills in a fast-paced, customer-first environment.
