Store Manager

Do you want to leave your mark and drive the consumer experience in one of our stores? We’re looking for an outstanding Store Manager to join the Vans team based in Cardiff.

As a Store Manager, you will lead and nurture a team, whilst displaying your own initiative to drive sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

We expect that our Store Managers deliver memorable retail experiences by:

  • Leading, motivating and mentoring your store teams to drive a customer-first approach
  • Implementing established retail processes while looking for ways to improve them
  • Keeping on top of core retail operational procedures such as inventory and P&L
  • Reporting performance metrics and understanding KPIs to improve store results
  • Ensuring the store looks great in line with the brand’s visual merchandising guidelines
Qualifications
  • You love interacting with customers and enjoy helping them find the right product; you are resilient and self-driven in a demanding store environment
  • You can develop a great team that shares your passion and vision to make every shopping experience outstanding; you mentor employees and support their growth
  • You have experience running a store, including budgeting and planning, retail operations and merchandising
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; another language is a plus but not required
  • Proficient in MS Office and different POS systems
  • Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as necessary
