The Store Manager plays a vital role in the store's success, overseeing sales, profitability, customer service, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Recruitment, induction, and training/development of staff in line with Subway's standards—lead by example!
  • Creating and managing staff schedules
  • Checking deliveries, matching orders, and handling daily banking
  • Preparing stock and sales paperwork, employee pay, and timesheets
  • Managing cash balances and minimizing wastage
  • Ensuring 100% compliance with Subway and local regulations
  • Inventory management, stock control, weekly stock takes, and reporting
  • Analyzing sales and inventory reports to improve business performance
  • Maintaining store cleanliness and presentation
  • Implementing in-store marketing materials and point-of-purchase displays in line with campaigns
  • Ensuring safety procedures are followed to prevent injuries
  • Providing a safe environment for employees and customers
  • Encouraging high levels of customer service among staff
  • Handling escalated customer complaints
  • Delivering excellent service in product handling, sales, and catering to customer needs
