Job summary

Tesco is seeking a Maintenance Technician to cover Bedford, Herts and surrounding areas. You will help create safe, welcoming and well‑maintained environments for customers and colleagues, working with a supportive team to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across our stores.

You'll use problem‑solving, technical knowledge and practical skills to keep our estate operating at its best, with training and development provided to support your career with Tesco, a recognised and inclusive

Qualifications

• ONC or equivalent qualification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety principles.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Digital confidence, including Office 365 and mobile technology.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and technical development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards across stores and properties.
• Coordinate with external contractors on repairs and maintenance.
• Balance planned maintenance with reactive repairs.
• Ensure equipment and facilities remain safe and operational.
• Minimise disruption to customers and colleagues during maintenance.
