Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

Arc’teryx is opening! We are launching our newest Brand Store in Manchester and are seeking a future Store Lead (Retail Supervisor).

As a key member of the store leadership team, you will work alongside the Assistant and Store Manager, leading a talented group of Product Guides (Sales Associates) and enhancing the guest experience. You will be involved in all aspects of the retail store, including experience, product, community, operations, and people, constantly seeking ways to improve our practices.

You are passionate about products and outdoor activities, eager to learn firsthand how our products perform. You value your connection with nature and encourage others to do the same.

You are committed to achieving bold goals both personally and professionally, working closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to coach on customer experience, team development, and business needs. You take initiative, possess strong assessment skills, and actively seek and provide relevant feedback, celebrating store achievements. You believe in creating a better world together.

As an Arc’teryx Store Lead, here’s what you’d be doing:
  • Leading in alignment with the Arc’teryx Vision, Purpose, and Values
  • Supporting the in-store experience during your shift, maintaining awareness of sales floor activities
  • Helping Product Guides deliver exceptional guest experiences through technical product knowledge, coaching, and feedback
  • Leading from the floor 5 days a week to champion floor leadership and guest experience
  • Overseeing store operations across experience, product, community, and people pillars
  • Building community by sharing brand information and event details with team and guests
  • Managing inventory throughout the day to maximize sales, including receiving, restocking, destocking, and visual merchandising
  • Using store tools to oversee sales targets, labor, and budgets
  • Networking with potential partners for events and community engagement
  • Handling opening and closing procedures as per company standards
  • Responding to store communications, including phones, voicemails, emails, and social media when necessary
  • Processing transactions accurately using the Point of Sale system, including warranties, trade-ins, purchases, and returns

  • At least one year of leadership experience and 1–2 years of retail experience

Details:
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week (five days)
Compensation: Hourly, including base and bonus
Expectations:
Availability must align with business needs, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday season coverage, especially during Black Friday and the holiday return period.
You are responsible for executing all store lead duties and supporting additional projects as assigned by the Store Manager or Regional Manager.
