Job summary

JD Sports is seeking a Store Colleague in the United Kingdom to provide outstanding customer service on the shop floor. You will greet customers, share product information, and help keep displays sharp while replenishing stock and assisting with daily store operations.

You’ll work with a collaborative team, contributing to meeting sales objectives and delivering a high-quality shopping experience that reflects the JD Sports brand. A friendly, proactive attitude is essential.

With a positive attitude, great teamwork, and a passion for helping people, you’ll help keep the store running smoothly and showcase the high standards we are known for.If you’re ready to step into a fast-paced retail environment, learn new skills, and be part of a supportive team, this is your opportunity to make an impact and build a strong foundation for your future career.Key Responsibilities• Deliver a positive and welcoming experience for customers, providing support and product information where required.• Responsible for achieving team sales objectives by identifying customer needs, recommending suitable products, and promoting complementary items.• Maintaining high standards of customer service.• Maintain high standards of presentation across the shop floor, ensuring fixtures, displays, and stock areas are clean, organised, and well maintained.• Replenish stock and ensure products are available and correctly displayed in line with company standards.• Complete operational tasks including processing transactions, cash handling, stock processing, and preparing deliveries.• Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily store operations.• Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements at all times.• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day running of the store.• Support with additional duties and tasks, as reasonably required.Skills & Experience• Ability to adapt approach and communication style to different people and situations.•.
