Job summary

JD Sports in Redhill is seeking a Store Colleague to deliver an outstanding customer experience on the shop floor. You will greet customers, maintain displays, replenish stock, and support daily store operations with a positive attitude and teamwork.

You will help achieve sales by identifying customer needs, recommending products, and processing transactions, while upholding health and safety standards and ensuring high presentation across the store.

Qualifications

With a positive attitude, great teamwork, and a passion for helping people, you’ll help keep the store running smoothly and showcase the high standards we are known for.If you’re ready to step into a fast-paced retail environment, learn new skills, and be part of a supportive team, this is your opportunity to make an impact and build a strong foundation for your future career.Key Responsibilities• Deliver a positive and welcoming experience for customers, providing support and product information where required.• Responsible for achieving team sales objectives by identifying customer needs, recommending suitable products, and promoting complementary items.• Maintaining high standards of customer service.• Maintain high standards of presentation across the shop floor, ensuring fixtures, displays, and stock areas are clean, organised, and well maintained.• Replenish stock and ensure products are available and correctly displayed in line with company standards.• Complete operational tasks including processing transactions, cash handling, stock processing, and preparing deliveries.• Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily store operations.• Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements at all times.• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day running of the store.• Support with additional duties and tasks, as reasonably required.Skills & Experience• Ability to adapt approach and communication style to different people and situations.•.
