Job summary

JD Sports in Barking is recruiting a Store Colleague to help deliver an outstanding customer experience daily. You’ll greet customers, keep displays sharp, replenish stock, and support sales on the shop floor with a positive attitude and teamwork.

You’ll use in-store technology to answer questions, process transactions, and follow company policies and health and safety rules. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, adaptable, and ready to contribute to the store’s smooth day-to-day

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive and welcoming experience for customers, providing support and product information where required.
• Maintain high standards of presentation across the shop floor, ensuring displays and stock areas are clean and well maintained.
• Replenish stock and ensure products are available and correctly displayed in line with company standards.
• Complete operational tasks including processing transactions, cash handling, stock processing, and preparing deliveries.
• Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily store operations.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day running of the store.
• Support with additional duties and tasks, as reasonably required.

Key Responsibilities
