Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a store colleague to join our busy UK stores. Availability windows drive shifts; we guarantee a minimum of 16 hours per week, with some roles starting at 12 hours. Pay starts at £13.28 per hour, rising to £14.55 in M25 stores, with possible additional payments.

You will provide friendly, natural service, get to know customers, and be confident with our products. Flexible store support includes shelf replenishment, checkout service, and online order picking.

Responsibilities

• Providing friendly, natural service and getting to know your customers
• Being confident with our products and services and offering help when needed
• Providing flexible support across the store, including shelf replenishment, checkout service, online order picking, occasional delivery assistance, and general service and replenishment duties.
• Making customer focused decisions and completing key store routines
• Understanding how your role supports great service, strong sales, waste reduction and overall store performance
• A passion for delivering great service, greeting customers with a smile, and serving them with pride
• To build rapport so customers leave having had a great experience
• To use your initiative and make the right decisions for customers
• To work well in a team and communicate openly, having fun, and celebrating success
