Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking a Store Cleaner for a large retail store in Newport. The role is a lone-working position, with a morning shift from 6:00am to 12:00pm and a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. You will be responsible for cleaning duties across floors, toilets, staff areas and welfare facilities.

Reliable, punctual and able to work independently are essential. Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not required, and equal opportunities employment is offered.

Location: Large Retail Store, Newport
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: 6:00am - 12:00pm

Shift Patterns Available:

• Tuesday to Saturday
• Sunday to Thursday

We are recruiting for reliable Store Cleaners to work at a large retail store in Newport. This is a lone-working role, so applicants must be comfortable working independently and managing their workload without direct supervision.

Duties will include:

• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
• Cleaning toilets, staff areas and welfare facilities
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste
• Dusting and wiping down surfaces
• Cleaning entrances, walkways and high-traffic areas
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the store
• Following site health and safety procedures
