Job summary

Tripod Partners is recruiting for Social Work Children roles in Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent with an immediate start and ongoing contract. The role focuses on assessment, duty work, CIN/CP and CLA case management, with responsibilities including Section 7 reports and court attendance.

You will work within Children’s services across multiple authorities, handling complex CP and CLA cases, attending strategy and professional meetings, and ensuring timely, quality welfare outcomes for children

Qualifications

• Post-qualifying experience in Children’s Team with assessment and duty work.
• Experience holding CIN/CP and LAC cases and completing SWETs.
• Proven ability to write court reports and attend court sessions.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Section 7 reports and Section 47 assessments/strategy discussions/ICPCs.
• Manage complex CP and CLA cases including visits and reviews.
• Attend strategy meetings, network and professional meetings; liaise with agencies.

• You will need to have strong post qualified experience in Children’s' Team - Assessment, Duty work -
• Hold CIN and CP cases and hold LAC cases
• Completing SWETs
• Section 7 reports
• Section 47 assessments / strategy discussions /ICPCs
• Holding complex CP cases Including CP visits, Core groups RCPCs etc.
• Holding CLA cases including Stat reviews, PEPs and visits.
• Undertaking Section 47 investigations
• Writing court reports and attending court
• Attending Strategy Meetings, network and Professional Meetings.
