Job summary

Compass is seeking a Cleaner to support infection control and uphold hygienic environments. This Mon-Fri role runs 0600-1230 and requires transport to site. No prior experience is necessary, and training is provided.

You will work with cleaning teams to maintain high cleanliness standards, handle routine cleaning tasks and ensure supplies are stocked for ongoing operations. This is an on-site, time-bound position.

Responsibilities

• Work with cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic.
• Dust, sweep, polish, mop and vacuum designated areas to a high standard.
• Ensure surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints are sanitised regularly.
• Perform additional cleaning duties as needed such as quick spill cleanups.
• Empty and dispose of bin waste.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies.

Cleaner Profile

As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in infection control that is needed to keep us operating and doing what we do best. Without good cleaners, the hospital couldn't deliver its life-changing medical services. We are looking for individuals who share our energy and passion, want to go the extra mile for our patients, and have a ‘can-do’ mindset - is this you? This is a Mon-Fri position 0600-1230 you will need to have transport to site due to the location, have cleaning Exp and Black safety shoes.

Main responsibilities include:

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer
• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard
• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly
• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently
• Emptying and disposing of bin waste
• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies
