Job description

Our Client is passionate about Fresh Produce and they successfully supply a high standard of product to the UK retailers. We currently offer an excellent opportunity for a Stocks and Planning Coordinator to join the business.

The position of Stocks and Planning Coordinator will work in a fast-paced Fresh Produce environment, reporting to the Stock and Planning Manager to ensure all aspects of raw material, stock control & supply chain management are efficient and meet the required standard. Working as part of an energetic and passionate team, effective communication is fundamental.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Manage daily and weekly planning in the ERP system to ensure production is planned for optimal performance and to meet business and customer demands.
  2. Take full responsibility for the day to day management of live fresh produce stock.
  3. Close jobs on the ERP system once complete ensuring full traceability of stock and packaging is maintained and information captured is accurate for invoicing.
  4. Monitor and investigate if stock movements within the production team are recorded accurately on the ERP system.
  5. Monitor Fresh Produce stock levels to ensure daily raw material stock levels meet customer orders, and schedule raw material arrivals to meet factory needs, identifying and resolving any stock issues promptly and efficiently.
We require:
  1. Fresh Produce / Food / FMCG sector exposure.
  2. Experience across planning / forecasting / stock control.
  3. Knowledge of product supply to retail customers, across the supply chain process.
  4. Excellent IT & Numeracy skills, the ability to use systems, spreadsheets, and multitask is key.

Location: Kent

Hours: 4 on 4 off day shift

Salary: up to £29,200 – dependent on experience

This is a 12 month FTC.
