Bidfood UK in Hoddesdon is seeking a Stock Team Manager to lead a team responsible for stock accuracy, availability and compliance, ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time for our customers.

This hands-on leadership role collaborates with warehouse, transport and operational teams to drive performance and reduce stock loss, while coaching colleagues and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, warehousing or logistics.
• Experience leading and motivating teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach with a focus on accuracy, service and continuous improvement.
• Experience investigating stock discrepancies and implementing solutions would be advantageous.
• The ability to build effective working relationships across multiple departments.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a team to deliver safe, accurate and efficient stock operations.
• Manage stock accuracy through perpetual inventory (PI) counts and stock investigations.
• Monitor stock loss, identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure date-sensitive stock is managed effectively to maximise availability and minimise waste.
• Investigating credits, stock discrepancies and root causes to improve processes.
• Maintaining compliance with company, quality, health, safety and environmental standards.
• Working collaboratively with warehouse, transport and operational teams to improve performance.
• Managing stock-related systems, reporting and administration to ensure accurate records.
• Coaching and developing colleagues through regular one-to-ones, objective setting and performance reviews.
• Driving a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and teamwork.
