Job description

Are you experienced in Stock Planning? Do you want to be part of one of the fastest growing wholesale companies around?

Experienced in Retail or FMCG Sector stock planning?

Then this is the role for YOU!

You will join a multi-million turnover business at the UK Headquarters in Darwen and support the Head of Planning and Projects.

You will use relevant information to schedule production works orders, ensure minimum stock levels, and timely OEM orders.

Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor minimum stock levels continuously to keep stock within specified limits. Control Understock report and process, including daily OTIF impact checks and hourly RPT69 report checks.
  2. Liaise with Sales to determine customer requirements for OEM orders, plan, and coordinate with procurement.
  3. Develop a production schedule for all lines, detailing tasks and deadlines.
  4. Coordinate with Operations Manager, Purchasing, Mixing, and Maintenance to ensure availability of staff, materials, and machinery.
  5. Create and organize product paperwork, including Works Order Documents.
  6. Troubleshoot scheduling issues during production, such as staff shortages and machinery malfunctions.
  7. Monitor production progress, ensure adherence to schedule, and address deviations.
  8. Collect and analyze production data to ensure planning relevance and feasibility.
  9. Prepare reports on production performance and recommend efficiency improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Experience in planning within Retail or FMCG industries.
  2. Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and customers.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  4. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  5. Negotiation skills and business acumen.
  6. Problem-solving ability with a positive attitude.
  7. Ability to work cross-functionally.
  8. Excellent organization and presentation skills.
