STOCK MANAGER
We have an exciting opportunity for a
Stock Manager to join our team based in Newark
. You will join us on a
full-time, permanent basis and in return will receive a competitive salary of
£46,000 per annum.

About the Stock Manager role:
As our
Stock Manager, you will maintain effective stock control systems and stock file integrity, via agreed processes and procedures in line with company and audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities of our Stock Manager:
- Undertake a weekly Perpetual Inventory (PI) count covering 25% of the stock file, with a 100% check per calendar month
- Produce a full report of all discrepancies, adjustments and procedural non-conformances, proposing corrective actions as appropriate
- Produce a monthly stock declaration and adjustments summary
- Ensure necessary documentation is up to date and accessible
- Carry out random checks on inbound and outbound stock movements to ensure correct processes are followed
- Key point of contact regarding stock accuracy, working closely with the Fulfilment teams to ensure effective movement of stock throughout the business
- Carry out root cause analysis of non-conformances by individuals and check stock figures for accuracy
- Ensure all adjustments to stock are correct, traceable, and reported
- Contribute in producing reports identifying slow moving stock (Aged Orders over 30days)
- Monitor stock levels for ancillary items and advise when re-order points are reached

Key skills and attributes we are looking for in our Stock Manager:
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- The ability to consistently deliver results in a fast paced and changing environment
- Minimum of 2 years Warehouse Stock Handling experience
- Physically fit to perform manual tasks as required
- Computer literate with ability to learn new programs
- A keen eye for accuracy and detail
- The ability to multi-task and manage a variable workload in an ever-changing environment
- The ability to communicate clearly and effectively
