Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Group in Ferndown is seeking a Stores Operative to maintain a well-run stores area, stock and paperwork. The role combines on-site stores duties with occasional local deliveries, helping the business run smoothly.

You will receive, check and book in deliveries, pick and pack stock, carry out regular stock checks and keep the stores clean and organised. A full UK driving licence is essential, with forklift experience desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores or warehouse roles within warehouse/logistics/manufacturing environments.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Attention to detail and confidence with basic stock systems.
• Reliable, organised approach to work.
• Counterbalance forklift licence desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and booking in incoming deliveries.
• Picking, packing and issuing stock to internal teams and customers.
• Carrying out regular stock checks, rotation and replenishment.
• Keeping the stores area clean, safe and well organised.
• Making occasional local deliveries to customers and sites.
• Updating stock records and paperwork accurately.
