Do you have a passion for fashion?

An exciting new opportunity has arisen at Snooty Frox for a Merchandiser/Stock Controller in Harrogate.

As the stock controller, you will be responsible for:-

  • ensuring that all orders are received in a timely manner, bearing in mind the window of opportunity to sell products during each season.
  • Liaising with suppliers.
  • Placing new orders – where extra goods are ordered in season.
  • Inputting purchase orders onto the EPOS system/inputting extra stock ordered.
  • Committing to stock any orders received.
  • Checking all stock is of saleable quality.
  • Ensuring all stock is correctly priced.
  • Steaming clothes and transferring stock to the sales floor
  • Removing all packaging to our waste bins

As the junior merchandiser, you will:-

  • Run regular focussed stock checks.
  • Produce regular, weekly reports highlighting sell throughs and stock levels in all areas.
  • Review and monitor historic data to support trading actions either in season or for future.
  • Look at and report on stock gaps in the case of quick sell throughs.

The ideal candidate will:-

  • Have excellent computer skills with an emphasis on Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Be highly numerate.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience of electronic stock control systems.
  • Team player with the ability to work on their own.

This role is office based, you must be able to travel to the office everyday.

Shop opening days are Tuesday – Saturday 9.30am – 5.00pm

Office opening hours are Tuesday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm

The role can be either -

a four day week Tuesday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm, or

a five day week Tuesday – Saturday 9.30am – 5.00pm
