Overview

We are looking to recruit a Stock Controller who will be responsible for stock control at our distribution centre in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire.

We offer a permanent full time position working any 5 days out of 7 including weekends. The shift pattern will be working hours between 06:00 - 14:00, but there may be times where other shift patterns may need to be covered.

Pay, working hours & benefits

We offer an hourly pay rate of £13.17. This is a full-time position with the opportunity of overtime.

Responsibilities
  • As one of our Stock Controllers you will: Accurately count stock.
  • Have a keen eye for detail.
  • Keep accurate records.
  • Complete date checks.
  • Allocate new product lines into pick sites.
  • Complete rack checks / inspections using a scissor lift (must be comfortable working from a height).
Requirements
  • To be physically fit as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to achieve productivity targets.
  • To be comfortable working at heights and in cold temperatures in our chilled and frozen warehouses.
  • A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
  • Although it is not essential, if you have experience of working in a warehouse environment or experience working with manual handling equipment then let us know about it in your application.
