CLOSING DATE 14 April 2025

Working closely with the logistics coordinator and colleagues across site, the Stock Controller and Admin support will be responsible for:

  1. Receiving deliveries as they arrive to the business and being the first point of contact for delivery drivers and visitors as they arrive on site.
  2. Ensuring stock received is checked for quantity and condition in a timely manner, placed in the correct location, and logged into the Business Central (BC) system to include expiry dates.
  3. Organising stock efficiently in designated storage locations.
  4. Issuing stock to the operations team as required, making necessary adjustments to BC to reflect stock movement.
  5. Being responsible for weekly stock movements being recorded in BC and carrying out weekly stock level checks (system stock count checked against physical stock count).
  6. Reporting monthly stock movement records (system stock count checked against physical stock count) to the Finance department at each month end.
  7. Monitoring key stock levels and ensuring stock levels are consistently maintained.
  8. Liaising with Central Procurement based in Nottingham regarding stock ordering.
  9. Ensuring year-end stock take is completed in a timely manner and liaising with the Central Financial Controller to support the year-end audit visit.
  10. Removing general rubbish, recyclables, and clinical waste from laboratories and ensuring correct removal from site in line with business needs.
  11. Supporting the Logistics Manager with courier relationships, including booking in samples received and coordinating the reporting of these samples through to the return of these cases back to the customer (where applicable) within the agreed Turn Around Times.
