Stock ControllerLocation:LiverpoolSalary: £25,000 - £30,000

Role OverviewAn opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented and organised Stock Co-ordinator to join a busy operational team. This role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient handling, processing, and despatching of goods, while maintaining accurate stock records and supporting the wider logistics function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and inspect incoming deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation for the Finance team and safe storage of goods.
  • Record all customer returns and work with the operations team to identify any damaged or faulty items requiring recharge.
  • Dismantle returned stock and place items into quarantine with appropriate labelling and documentation.
  • Liaise with logistics partners to ensure timely despatch of outgoing goods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within stores and build areas.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts and quarterly full stock audits, documenting all stock movements for Finance.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to monitor and update van stock levels weekly.
  • Communicate with pod refurbishment suppliers to ensure stock availability at each location to support ongoing work.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a stock-related role.
  • Experience working with electronics or hardware in a warehouse, factory, or logistics setting.
  • Familiarity with goods receipting and despatch procedures.
  • Proficient in stock management and inventory systems.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Windows 10.
  • Understanding of health and safety practices within a warehouse or factory environment.
