Qualifications

• At least 1-2 years in inventory, stock control, or warehouse administration.
• Basic understanding of inventory control principles.
• Familiarity with logistics and 3PL warehouse operations.
• Awareness of health & safety standards in warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular cycle counts and stock takes.
• Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Update and maintain inventory data in the WMS/ERP system.
• Generate and analyse inventory reports to support operational decisions.
• Monitor inbound/outbound stock movements for accuracy.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams, customer services, suppliers, and carriers.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and customer requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying trends and recommending solutions.
• Uphold health & safety protocols within the warehouse environment.

Are you highly organized with a keen eye for detail? We’re looking for a Stock Controller to join the dynamic logistics team at the East Midlands Gateway. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in inventory control or warehouse administration to play a key role in driving stock accuracy and operational efficiency.

In this position, you’ll be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date stock records in our Warehouse Management System (WMS). You'll ensure the integrity of inventory through regular reconciliations, investigations, and reporting — all vital to enabling seamless warehouse operations and satisfying customers.


Hours of Work:

•Starting mid - late August 2025, this role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis.
•Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 0800-16:30
