About Our Client

Our client is a well-respected player in the not for profit sector. As a large organisation, they have a broad reach across various communities, advocating for accessibility and providing valuable services to those who need them.

Job Description

  • Maintain accurate record of inventory and stock management systems according to set standards.
  • Develop inventory control models that promote lower cost of sales, shorter lead times, and reduced stock levels.
  • Raise dropship orders and attend to corresponding administrative tasks
  • Manage supplier orders, supporting with administration and handling supplier queries
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure business goals are met.
  • Report to management on stock levels, issues etc.
  • Identify and manage slow moving and obsolete stock.
  • Work in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Support other team members as required in an enthusiastic and friendly manner.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Stock Controller should have:

  • A background in e-commerce or retail
  • Outstanding organisational and coordination abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in using inventory software, and experience in forecasting and budgeting.
