About the Role
Zachary Daniels are excited to be partnering with a rapidly expanding and successful organisation who partner with fashion brands worldwide! We're looking for a highly detail-oriented and proactive Stock Controller to join a dynamic Operations & Logistics team. This new role is critical in supporting a rapidly growing multi-brand platform, ensuring inventory accuracy, timely stock movement, and smooth collaboration with brands and logistics partners. From overseeing complex stock flows to coordinating bi-annual stock takes and solving discrepancies, you'll play a key part in the operational success.

The platform services both retail and D2C channels, with stock handled across UK and US warehouses via 3PL partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc inventory checks to ensure consistency and stock accuracy between stocktakes.
  • Lead and support bi-annual stocktakes across multiple global locations (UK & US), including reconciliation, reporting, and investigations into variances.
  • Act as the main point of contact for inventory queries from partner brands, providing regular audit support and clear visibility on stock status.
  • Oversee the physical and systemic movement of stock between global warehouses, brands, and sales channels (D2C, wholesale, and marketplaces).
  • Monitor and investigate stock variances across all trading locations; escalate discrepancies promptly and work towards root cause resolutions.
  • Support fulfilment operations and logistics functions including picking, packing, and dispatches, particularly across complex retail and D2C journeys.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate stock dispatches to partners.
  • Maintain and update WMS and other stock management systems, ensuring accurate documentation of all stock movements and transactions.
  • Visit warehouse locations (UK, US) as required to support audits and build 3PL relationships (approx. once a month in the UK).
  • Assist with wider day-to-day operational and logistics tasks as needed.
Skills & Experience Required
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data cleansing, reporting).
  • Strong experience working with WMS systems and high stock volumes across multiple locations or marketplaces.
  • Background in retail, eCommerce, or logistics with knowledge of both D2C and wholesale operations.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage and analyse large data sets.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills - able to work cross-functionally with internal teams, brand partners, and external 3PLs.
  • Confident working both independently and within a collaborative team structure.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment and capable of switching between detailed tasks and big-picture thinking.
  • Previous experience with stock audits, dispatch tracking, and supply chain troubleshooting is highly desirable.

If you are an experienced stock controller who thrives in a dynamic environment, we'd love to hear from you! Apply now!
