Job description

Great opportunity to work as a Stock Controller for one of the largest providers of flowers to major supermarket chains throughout the UK.

Staffline is recruiting for a Stock Controller for the day shift in Chatteris.

The rate of pay is:
Day shift is paid at £X per hour and £Y per hour for overtime

This is a full-time role. The shift pattern will be:
4 on, 3 off, 3 on, 4 off

Currently, the working hours are 08:00am - 06:30/07:00pm, with plans to change to 07:00am - 07:00pm. Please note that these hours are subject to change based on business requirements.

Local candidates in Chatteris are encouraged to apply. Transport is available for those travelling from Peterborough.

Your Time at Work

As a Stock Controller, your duties may include but are not limited to:

• Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment whilst ensuring health and safety standards are maintained
• Managing stock flow proactively to and from the store area
• Following health and safety protocols
• Promoting and upholding the clean-as-you-go policy
• Using correct manual handling techniques
• Ensuring stock accuracy on site
• Conducting daily free space and perpetual stock checks
• Performing stock investigations as needed
• Identifying process improvements for stock availability
• Weekly add-on stock counts

• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude
• Proficient in reading, writing in English, and good with Maths
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy

Previous experience or knowledge in warehouse stock management is preferred.
