Job description

We are expanding the Stock team at our Harworth Site! As Stock Controller, you will play a vital role in maintaining stock integrity within the warehouse. With an eye for detail and excellent investigative skills, you should ideally have stock control experience and knowledge of WMS. Teamwork, communication, and tenacity are key attributes, along with the ability to work proactively on your own initiative.

Shift Pattern: Any 5 in 7 rotating shifts (06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00)

Salary: £26,847 per annum

Responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with management and operational staff to ensure accuracy of received and dispatched loads, making amendments and reworks as needed.
  • Managing the problem pallet area in conjunction with the Receipt and Despatch Team.
  • Maintaining stock integrity by accurately amending pickfaces after checks.
  • Managing hold and release processes.
  • Assisting in the management of the pallet database.
  • Investigating and reporting all short shipments accurately.
  • Completing daily and weekly reports.
  • Supporting stock management investigations.
  • Handling additional responsibilities such as handovers, missing pallet investigations, damage control, and sampling.

  • Knowledge of on-site systems.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
