Job summary

A family-owned business in Northern Ireland is seeking a Stock Coordinator for a temporary role of up to one year. The position involves stock monitoring, managing relationships with suppliers, and ensuring adherence to standard operation procedures. Ideal candidates will have 5 GCSEs including Maths and English and experience in a wholesale or FMCG environment. Excellent PC skills are required.

Please note this role is temporary for up to 1 year.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out PI tasks
  • Monitor stock by carrying out cyclical stock counts
  • Control shrinkage through prompt action to minimise damages and out of date products
  • Work with operations to ensure robust controls and procedures are in place to identify pilferage
  • Ensure all standard operation procedures are adhered
  • Support and co-ordinate stock takes – Stocktake attendance required bi-annually
  • Provide professional first-class customer service at all times
  • Manage relationships with Suppliers and Sales Teams, Cash and Carry and Supply Chain to deliver required results
  • Manage slow moving & eliminated lines
The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • 5 GCSE’s grades A-C including Maths & English or equivalent experience
  • Excellent PC Skills to include Microsoft Office
  • Previous wholesale experience in FMCG environment
