Job Description

Our client is currently recruiting for a Stock Condition Surveyor on a 6-month temporary contract with availability in the West Midlands. They are an award winning, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, delivering projects worldwide.

The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The rates are:

  • £18 per flat
  • £26 per house
  • £29 per block
  • £40 per flat +EPC
  • £50 per house + EPC

The ideal candidate will have a background in repairs & maintenance or building surveying and also have experience conducting Stock Condition Surveys on social housing properties.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Conducting stock condition surveys & EPCs on social housing units to ensure buildings are designed and constructed appropriately
  • Establishing condition, , repairs and remaining life of building components & also energy characteristics and legislative compliance
  • Ensuring a timely return of all relevant documentation and managing own lists in specified timeframe
  • Producing regular reports on handheld devices on applicable software

Experience required:

  • Stock Condition Surveying experience for social housing properties
  • Experience booking in appointments to conduct surveys
  • DEA accreditation

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

  • Must hold a full UK driving license
