Job Description

• Conduct inspections of works or services on behalf of the council, including pre, in-progress, and completion inspections.
• Perform limited stock condition surveys of portfolio properties, utilizing software/hardware to record data.
• Collaborate with the technical services team to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions.
• Contribute to the council's 'Quality Management Plan'.
• Promote teamwork and knowledge sharing among postholders.
• Provide expertise to support the Development and Investment Directorate's goals.
• Participate in lessons learned reviews for projects and ensure improvements are implemented.
• Attend project meetings to monitor contract and project progress.

The Successful Applicant

• Experience in similar roles involving planned works, repairs, voids, refurbishment, or new builds related to housing developments.
• Experience inspecting works in occupied and unoccupied premises.
• Control of material quality and workmanship during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with RAMS and building regulations.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and housing health and safety laws.
