Build Recruitment is partnering with a leading Affordable Housing Provider to find an experienced Stock Condition Surveyor to join their Asset Management team. This role offers a great opportunity for a proactive professional to impact asset management and investment planning in social housing.

The Role

As a Stock Condition Surveyor, you will assess the condition of housing stock, ensure compliance, and support maintenance and improvement programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed Stock Condition Surveys for planning
• Investigate defects and recommend remedial actions
• Develop specifications and manage repair programs
• Procure and oversee small works projects, acting as Project Manager / Contract Administrator
• Ensure compliance with building regulations (Building Regs, CDM, DDA, Party Wall Act, Fire Safety, Asbestos, etc.)

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Stock Condition Surveyor
• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance
• Experience in budget and contract management
• Qualification in construction or maintenance (minimum HNC)
