Job description

Job Title: Stock Condition Surveyor

We are partnering with a leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy that offers comprehensive services to the housing sector. They are seeking to appoint Stock Condition Surveyors on a 4-6 month temporary contract.

This is a full-time position with opportunities along the South Coast in Portsmouth, Southampton, and Brighton. The rates are £23 per house and £18 per flat.

The ideal candidate will have experience conducting stock condition surveys on social housing units and possess a full UK driving license.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out stock condition surveys on social housing units.
• Assessing condition, age, repairs, remaining life of building components, energy characteristics, and legislative compliance.
• Knowledge of RdSAP to complete relevant survey questions.
• Liaising with residents regarding work carried out.
• Meeting daily survey targets.

Requirements:

• Experience within a social housing environment.
• Knowledge of RdSAP and HHSRS.
