Overview

We have a new opportunity for a Stock Condition Surveyor to join us at SNG.


This is a full time permanent role covering our Bristol and Wiltshire localities with a blend of office, surveying and home working.


The starting salary is £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.


The Role

As a Stock Condition Surveyor you'll be responsible for undertaking comprehensive stock condition surveys, RdSAP energy data surveys and Housing Health and Safety Rating Systems (HHRSS) across all of Sovereign Network Groups (SNG) stock portfolio.


You'll use mobile technology to gather and validate the accuracy of stock and component related data and support the business in processing this proactively.


You will work with the survey management and monitoring team to ensure the data is interpreted accurately and supports the business investment needs.


Our Stock Condition Surveyors play a key part in delivering the right outcome to our customers in a safe and timely manner.


What we're looking for

You'll have carried out detailed stock condition surveys to occupied and empty properties and communal areas. You will also be experienced in undertaking RdSAP assessments, HHSRS assessments and the Decent Homes Standard.



  • Experience of asset management IT data base systems and electronic data capture including using mobile technology.

  • Evidence of excellent customer service achievements in a complex delivery environment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrate strong people skills to build successful relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

  • Experience of working to deadlines and achieving targets through own work and work driven through teams.


An HND/HNC Building or "A" Level equivalent is an advantage but not essential.
