Job description

The role of Stock Auditor is really important to us.

You will be responsible for protecting our fuel stock interests across our UK, Irish, and mainland European network.

We would love to welcome you to our Crewe office, working hours of Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm.

What would your day-to-day look like?
  1. Complete dedicated monthly stock reconciliations for specific sites based in the UK, Ireland, and Mainland Europe.
  2. Liaise with all sites to confirm their current stock position and investigate any outstanding reconciling items within the permitted timeframe.
  3. Complete allocated monthly and weekly network partner and customer reconciliations.
  4. Investigate and implement new methods for measuring site performance and reconciliation processes.
  5. Complete stock, transaction, and delivery reports for a variety of customers across Europe.
  6. Work with the Finance Manager and team members to review and improve reconciliation systems and processes.
  7. Collaborate with various departments to analyze risk and minimize potential financial exposure.
Qualifications
  • Experience interacting across departments and all organizational levels.
  • Good Excel skills, including creating and using Pivot Tables and V-Lookup, would be desirable.
  • Minimum 2 years of reconciliation experience would be advantageous.
  • Experience in process improvement and streamlining would be a plus.
  • High accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
