A leading logistics company in Bridgwater is seeking a Warehouse Management Supervisor to ensure compliance and efficiency in stock management. The role involves supervising the stock team, enhancing operational processes, and maintaining data accuracy in the Warehouse Management System. Strong leadership and experience in stock control are essential. Competitive salary and various benefits are offered.
To manage the successful in/outbound compliance of stock across all warehouses, working with the operational management to lead Warehouse Management Processes and compliance, supporting Quality Checks and system audits to report stock accuracy routinely. Active investigation into non-conformance of stock maintenance and control.

Duties and responsibilities:
Deputise for the Stock and Systems Managerduring periods of absence, leading and supervising the Stock and Systems team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Collaborate with warehouse, operations, and customer teamsto enhance stock control processes and drive operational improvements.
Support the developmentof stock and systems functions across the contract, ensuring processes, practices, and procedures meet compliance with Licence Conditions.
Train and develop team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Work closely with the C&M teamto ensure equipment care and maintenance is effectively managed throughout its storage lifecycle, with proactive reporting and schedule updates.
Oversee the use and maintenance of the Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring data accuracy and generating reports on stock performance, trends, and discrepancies.
Deliver departmental KPIsin line with contractual obligations, maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Coordinate cycle counting activities, analyse results to identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
Communicate system issuesin line with escalation procedures and support system upgrades, process improvements, and new implementations.
Maintain accurate inventory records, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to ensure stock integrity
Experience, Skills, and Attributes:
Proven experience instock control, inventory management, orwarehouse systems.
Strongleadership and team managementskills, with the ability to motivate and develop others.
Proficiency inWarehouse Management Systems (WMS)—ideally Manhattan 2017—andMicrosoft Excel.
Stronganalytical and problem-solvingskills with attention to detail.
Ability towork under pressurein a fast-paced logistics environment.
Excellentcommunication and organisationalskills.
