Job Description:

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is looking for a Stitch & Print Finishing Operative to work for a digital printing business based in Leicester.

This is a temp-to-perm position.

The Job:

1. You will perform a variety of tasks including:
2. Using a sewing machine to stitch various printed materials.
3. Print finishing duties such as folding, gluing, packing, cutting, and other tasks.
4. Shifts are Monday to Friday, mainly from 8am to 4pm.
5. Occasionally, shifts may be from 11am to 7pm to meet urgent order deadlines.
6. You will need to use computers to locate and print different jobs, find information, or update when jobs are completed.
7. Excellent working conditions.
8. Ongoing training and support will be provided.

About You:

1. Previous experience with stitching or sewing machines is advantageous but training will be provided.
2. Experience in print finishing is beneficial but training can be provided.
3. Ability to use computers effectively.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Good English language and communication skills.
