Wellington Management in London seeks a Stewardship Associate to join the Stewardship & Sustainable Investment team within the COO Group. You will support engagements, proxy voting analysis, and stewardship operations to deliver long-term value for clients.

The role requires analytical judgment, strong communication, and collaboration across investment professionals and teams. You will help scale governance research, maintain engagement records, and contribute to reporting and RFI/RFP responses.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical ability and judgment to evaluate disclosures, governance, proxy materials, and sustainability reporting.
• Interest in corporate governance, stewardship, sustainability, and long-term investing with connections to investment relevance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate with investment professionals and stewardship teams.

Responsabilités

• Support the Stewardship Lead in developing and executing engagement priorities.
• Lead or participate in engagements with company management and boards to inform proxy voting decisions.
• Analyze proxy items and provide voting recommendations aligned with guidelines.
• Maintain engagement records and use data analytics to improve reporting and processes.
