Volunteer Roles
  1. Preview Night Assistance: Help us kick off our event in style by serving drinks and nibbles to studio holders and invited guests, including key funders. This is a fantastic opportunity to network with our grassroots artists and gain hands-on experience in event hospitality.
  2. Stewarding for Island Open Studios Weekend: Be the face of our event by acting as a steward. You'll guide visitors, ensure smooth operations, and assist with crowd management. Your role will help us create a welcoming and organised atmosphere for all attendees.
  3. Visitor Counting and Feedback Collection: Help us improve our events by counting the number of people coming in and out and gathering valuable feedback from visitors. Your input will directly impact future events and help us enhance the visitor experience.
  4. Exhibition Invigilation: Ensure the security and smooth running of our Island Studio Holders Exhibition. As an invigilator, you'll monitor the exhibition space, interact with visitors, and assist with any inquiries, providing a professional yet friendly presence.

Ideally you will be able to volunteer with us over the whole of the Open Studios period. By volunteering with us, you'll gain invaluable experience working over our fun and fabulous Open Studio weekend, develop new skills, and have the chance to engage with a diverse group of artists and art enthusiasts. Plus, you'll be making a meaningful contribution to our arts community.
