We have a position available for a Steward at Swinton Barracks.

The role involves maintaining high standards of food service within the dining room and associated areas, supporting both daily operations and special functions as directed by the mess manager or head steward. Key responsibilities include ensuring cleanliness, excellent presentation, and professionalism at all times while delivering outstanding customer service to enhance the overall dining experience for all personnel and guests.

What You’ll Do:

1. Maintain Professional Standards: Ensure high levels of personal hygiene, appearance, and professional conduct in a front-of-house environment.
2. Food & Beverage Service: Deliver food and beverage service to the highest standard, assist with minor food preparation, and support function setup as directed.
3. Cleanliness & Compliance: Follow cleaning schedules and COSHH guidelines, maintain cleanliness in all areas, and use correct products and methods as trained.
4. Health, Safety & Reporting: Adhere to Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations, complete required documentation accurately, and promptly report any equipment faults or breakages.
