Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD is recruiting for multiple Labourer positions based in Stevenson. We are seeking reliable, hardworking individuals to assist with building, maintenance and site duties, with transport provided during working hours.

Applicants must hold a valid CSCS card and a full, valid driving licence. Prior experience in general building work and maintenance is preferred for more experienced roles, and you will work as part of a team supporting tradesmen on site.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required.
• Full, valid driving licence required.
• Experience in general building work and maintenance preferred for experienced labouring duties.
• Desirable: experience in driving, material deliveries and waste removal.
• Reliable, hardworking and proactive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support tradesmen.

Responsibilities

• Assisting tradesmen with all aspects of general building and maintenance work.
• Carrying out building tasks, including slabbing, wall building, lintel and cill replacement, and general building repairs.
• Preparing work areas and materials for jobs.
• Undertaking manual handling duties and assisting with the preparation and completion of tasks as required by tradesmen.
• Delivering building materials to site.
• Uplifting and disposing of building-related waste.
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
• Carrying out general labouring duties to support the day-to-day operations of the team.
