Job Opportunity: Port Operative (Customer Operations Agent - Quay)

We are looking to hire a Port Operative to support our leadership team in Hull. The role involves ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant port operations, including the discharge and loading of vessels, mooring, and departure management.

The position requires working on a fixed shift pattern, supporting vessel operations, and working cooperatively with the Port and Ship team to maximize efficiency and capacity.

Candidate Requirements
  • Full clean driving license; HGV Class 1 preferred but not essential
  • Experience with equipment such as reach stackers, forklift trucks, and RoRo tractor units
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
  • Good health and safety knowledge
  • Experience in a port environment and willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
Additional Details

Location: Hull. The role operates on a shift basis, 40 hours per week, including public holidays. Flexibility is essential.
