Job summary

B. Braun Melsungen AG at Sterilog Pudsey is seeking a Production Technician & Driver to support decontamination and distribution of surgical instruments and medical devices.

You will operate washer disinfectors and sterilizers and help transport goods between the facility and customer hospitals. The role is split between production and driving duties, with 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 5:30am–1:30pm, and a salary of £25,272 per annum.

Qualifications

• Valid full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and prepare used surgical equipment for decontamination.
• Manually clean heavily contaminated instruments following work instructions.
• Load medical devices into washer disinfectors per procedures.
• Safely transport instruments and devices between the decontamination facility and hospitals.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete transport records.
