The Exciting Role

We are looking for a dedicated and inspiring teacher to join our Steps to Success team - a curriculum programme that supports learners with high needs and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) as they prepare for adulthood.

What You Will Be Doing:
Delivering outstanding teaching and learning across the curriculum in personal and social development, independent life skills and employability.
Supporting learners' personal and academic progress through tailored programmes and a supportive environment.
Acting as a personal tutor, building strong relationships with learners, parents and carers and the Additional Learning Support team.
Setting and tracking personalised EHCP targets in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies.
Plan and deliver enrichment activities, work experience, work placement and transition activities to promote independence.
Play a key role in EHCP annual reviews and contribute to the strategic development of the provision.

What We Are Looking For:
A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd or equivalent).
Experience teaching and supporting learners with high needs and EHCPs.
A person-centred approach, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and inclusive teaching practices.
Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
