Job summary

Step-Forward Foster Carer with Cheshire East Council offers the chance to provide a safe, nurturing home for a child or sibling group, delivering stability and support during a key life transition. • Be 21+ years old with right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Capable of providing full-time care in your home (one carer must be present if applying as a couple).
• Have spare bedroom(s) that can be dedicated to fostering.

Responsibilities

• Full-time care for a child or sibling group moving from residential care.
• Provide stability, routine and reassurance within a nurturing home.
• Support the child’s emotional, behavioural and social development.
• Work closely with social workers, therapists and other professionals.
• Keep clear records and provide therapeutic, relationship-based care.
