Cheshire East Council is seeking a Step-Forward Foster Carer to provide a safe, nurturing home for a child or sibling group. You will offer stability, routine and guidance, helping them feel they belong and grow after leaving residential care.

Role includes specialist therapeutic training, supervision from social workers and access to local fostering networks. A strong commitment to a child’s wellbeing and family connections is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 21 or over with no upper age limit.
• Experience supporting children, young people, or adults with complex needs is desirable.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom is required.

Responsibilities

• Full-time care for a child or sibling group in your home.
• Provide stability, routine and reassurance in a nurturing home.
• Support emotional, behavioural, and social development of the child.
