A mental health service provider in Suffolk is seeking a Step 3 Clinical Supervisor to oversee CBT clinicians and ensure they adhere to guidelines. The role requires extensive experience in delivering CBT and supervising therapists. This permanent position offers a hybrid work environment with responsibilities including clinical supervision and direct patient care. Starting salary ranges from £47,810 to £54,710 gross per annum.
Wellbeing Suffolk service is a NHS Talking Therapies programme, providing primary care assessment, advice and psychological interventions to people in Suffolk, who want help with common mental health problems of anxiety and low mood. Interventions are delivered both face to face and remotely through telephone and video call.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Step 3 Clinical Supervisor with extensive experience of delivering CBT, to join our team. The post holder will be responsible for providing clinical supervision (including case management) to Step 3 clinicians, ensuring supervisees work safely and professionally, adhering to NICE guidelines and professional/service guidance.
Applicants must hold full accreditation with the BABCP and will have experience of offering clinical supervision to other therapists.
This is a permanent position. The service has sites in Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich. There will be an expectation of both working from service sites and home working.
As part of the role you will be involved in assisting the clinical leadership team in supporting and developing the High Intensity part of the service and helping the service achieve its required key performance indicators.
You will also be responsible for your own, small caseload. Providing assessment and treatment for people presenting with common mental health problems, within the NHS Talking Therapies framework.
This service is delivered via a partnership between Norfolk & Suffolk Foundation Trust (NSFT) and third sector providers. We deliver a bio-psychosocial model which includes psychological, employment and social interventions across the county. Our treatments are delivered face to face, by telephone or MS Teams video call and online via webinars.
