Job summary

The University of Manchester’s Social Responsibility & EDIA (SR&EDIA) Team invites an Engagement Projects Officer to coordinate and deliver high-quality outreach and engagement projects within the Public, Civic, and Schools Engagement strand of our Social Responsibility strategy.

This role includes managing an externally funded Aramco project to encourage young people aged 14–18 into STEM study and careers, shaping events for schools and public audiences, and reporting on project outcomes while

• Experience in shaping and delivering events for schools or public audiences.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Project management of externally funded public, civic, and schools engagement projects.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including acting as the point of contact for partner organisations.
• Leading the planning, organisation, and coordination of project-related events for young people, including all logistics and supervision.
• Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on projects and activities.
