A leading sports organization in Liverpool seeks a STEM Coordinator to deliver engaging STEM programmes to students, incorporating football-related content. We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our LFC Foundation team in our PL Primary Stars department as a STEM Coordinator. In this role, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and educational STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) programmes to primary and secondary school students.

To succeed in this role, you will have recent proven experience working in a school setting delivering STEM content and curriculum, as well as experience creating and developing curriculum content. You should have experience designing and delivering engaging educational programmes for students and be familiar with curriculum development and integrating STEM concepts into education. Experience in primary or secondary education, including holding a relevant teaching certification, is preferred.
You will possess a strong knowledge and understanding of STEM subjects, systems, and their practical applications. Maintaining skills in behaviour management techniques is important. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for football and an understanding of its potential to inspire and motivate young people. A commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and promoting opportunities for underrepresented groups is also required.
This is a Fixed-Term Contract for 12 months, working 35 hours per week on a 5 from 7-day basis, with some weekend work required. The main base is Anfield Sports and Community Centre, Liverpool, but the role may require working at other locations, transporting heavy equipment across Merseyside, and traveling within England and Wales.
