University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy Nurse to join the BMTCT CNS team for a 12-month secondment. The post involves autonomous practice within a multidisciplinary team, delivering expert clinical care to patients undergoing stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Formación

• Registered nurse on relevant part of the NMC register.
• Level 7 Post Grad Cert (Min 60 Credits), Master’s Degree within relevant speciality or equivalent knowledge to be assessed through evidence of relevant speciality training, experience or portfolio.
• Specialist training / Qualification in area of practice.
• Provide evidence of leading learning in practice.
• Evidence of experience and completion of all band 6 competencies within relevant speciality.
• Specialist clinical skills and experience within specialist area.
• Evidence of change Management, leadership and innovation.
• Clinical experience at Band 6 or equivalent within relevant speciality.

Responsabilidades

• Specialist clinical practice: Provide expert nursing assessment, care planning and management for patients undergoing BMT and cellular therapies.
• Caseload management and care coordination: Autonomously manage a defined patient caseload and coordinate complex care across the transplant pathway.
• Patient advocacy and support: Provide specialist information, education and psychosocial support.
• Clinical leadership: Act as an expert resource for the multidisciplinary team.
• Service development and improvement: Lead nurse-led initiatives and clinical guidelines.
• Education and professional development: Support education and development of nursing colleagues.
• Clinical governance and research: Participate in audit, research and quality improvement.
